Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services of Leafport Kirkland Tree Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Services Provided
Leafport Kirkland Tree Service provides professional tree care services including tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding and removal, emergency tree services, land and lot clearing, tree health and maintenance, arborist consulting, and shrub and hedge trimming. All services are performed by trained professionals using industry-standard equipment and techniques.
Service availability, pricing, and scheduling are subject to change based on weather conditions, equipment availability, and other factors beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any changes that affect your scheduled services.
Estimates and Pricing
We provide free estimates for our services. Estimates are based on visual inspection and information provided by the customer. Final pricing may vary if conditions differ from those observed during the estimate or if additional work is required. We will notify you of any significant price changes before proceeding with work.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. A deposit may be required for large projects.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or approvals required for tree work on their property. You must provide accurate information about property boundaries, underground utilities, and any other conditions that may affect our work. You are responsible for ensuring that pets and people remain at a safe distance during tree service operations.
Customers must provide clear access to work areas. If access is restricted or conditions prevent safe completion of work, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel services. Cancellation fees may apply for same-day cancellations or if we arrive on site and cannot complete work due to customer-related issues.
Liability and Insurance
Leafport Kirkland Tree Service carries general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. We take all reasonable precautions to protect your property during service operations. However, tree work involves inherent risks, and we are not liable for damage resulting from hidden defects in trees, unpredictable tree behavior, or acts of nature.
Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Customers are encouraged to review their homeowner insurance policies regarding tree work coverage.
Emergency Services
Emergency tree services are provided on a best-effort basis. Response times may vary based on weather conditions, crew availability, and the number of emergency calls received. Emergency services may be subject to premium pricing due to after-hours work and urgent response requirements.
Warranty and Guarantees
We guarantee that all work will be performed in a professional manner according to industry standards. However, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes for tree health treatments or predict tree behavior following pruning or other services. Trees are living organisms subject to many factors beyond our control.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in King County, Washington, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of King County, Washington.
